With over fifteen years of legal experience, more than 100 trials under her belt and several millions of dollars in verdicts and settlements, Wendy Manard has extensive experience in personal injury, class actions, employment law and child advocacy law.

While native to New Orleans, Ms. Manard double majored at the University of California, Santa Barbara, while she competed in Division One cross country and track.  Ms. Manard then spent three years as an advocate and educator in both the California and Louisiana public school systems.  She received her Juris Doctorate at Tulane Law school, where she participated in the juvenile justice pro bono clinic.  Upon graduating from Tulane Law, she devoted the first few years of her legal career to juvenile advocacy, helping children who had been abused and neglected.  Ms. Manard then started her private practice as a personal injury lawyer with the continued goal to serve both adults and children who have been injured or taken advantage of. She has been admitted to practice law by both the California and Louisiana Bar Associations.

Ms. Manard is also a proud mother to her son, Matthew, who is a student in the New Orleans charter school system. She also dedicates much of her time to providing pro-bono services to the New Orleans community.  Ms. Manard’s profession mission and philosophy reflect her values inside and outside of the courtroom, which include advocating for justice, strong representation and reform.

If we have not already had the pleasure of meeting, please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wendy Manard. I am a personal injury lawyer with a firm based in New Orleans, but we help clients all over the state of Louisiana. I am a native of New Orleans and have lived in the New Orleans area most of my life. I also spent ten years in California. I am a member of the California Bar as well. I double majored at the University of California I’m Santa Barbara, where I ran cross country and track, and I graduated from Tulane Law School. Before law school, I was a special ed public school teacher. The first two years of my legal career were focused on child advocacy. I am now a mother to an amazing boy. While I still do some pro bono work for abused children, my focus for the last ten years has been in helping injured adults and children through personal injury law. I have obtained numerous multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts on behalf of my clients. When I became a lawyer, I vowed to use my law degree to help people. Please meet Attorney Walker Lasiter. Walker received both his law degree and his master’s degree from the University of Mississippi. Originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, Walker came to New Orleans over twenty years ago. He immediately fell in love with the city, its music, its people and its food and has lived here ever since. You may see Walker at music festivals or other live musics venues around the city on the weekends. Walker doesn’t know a stranger. A member of both the Louisiana and Mississippi Bar Associations, Walker is also admitted to practice in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. A die-hard Saints fan, he lives in the Irish Channel and specializes in personal injury, criminal defense and entertainment law.

Please meet Attorney Robyn Brown. Robyn obtained her Juris Doctorate from Arkansas School of Law. She has been admitted to both the Arkansas and Louisiana Bar Associations. She began her legal career serving families, children and victims of abuse. Upon moving to Louisiana about five years ago, she continued this work and developed substantial experience in divorce, guardianships, custody and support proceedings. She has successfully represented clients in all stages of litigation. She has transferred her skills into personal injury law and uses her experience to help clients navigate through the legal system. She continues to represent clients in both personal injury and family law. Robyn is also an avid runner, has a huge heart and is a foster parent to rescue animals.

Paralegal April White-Curtis. Mrs. Curtis is a native of New Orleans and raised in the Gentilly area. She graduated from J.F. Kennedy SHS where she was also a student in the gifted arts program. While being a wife and mother of four, she studied and graduated from Tulane University in 2015 with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and a Certificate in Paralegal Studies.
